I love Hugh Howey's books. I was very excited to see what I thought was a new book by him. I specifically checked the publication date before purchasing. It said October 2019. It wasn't until a couple of chapters in that I started thinking this story seemed very familiar. I finally realized I had read this before. That was when I discovered that this book was originally published in 2010. I was not happy finding out I had paid for a book I had purchased and read 10 years ago. By the time I had gotten around to reading it, it was too late to return it. The book itself was just okay, not worth paying twice for.
